These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website operated by The Mobile Welder ("we", "us", "our") at themobilewelder.com.au, and any welding services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

The Mobile Welder provides on-site mobile welding services across Greater Sydney, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminium welding, fabrication, and emergency callouts. All services are subject to availability and site suitability assessment.

We reserve the right to decline any job that we consider unsafe, outside our scope, or unsuitable for on-site completion.

2. Quotes and Pricing

All rates published on this website are indicative and subject to change. A formal quote will be provided before work commences on-site. Rates are charged per hour at the applicable material rate (steel, stainless steel, or aluminium). A minimum charge applies to all jobs.

Quotes are valid for the scope of work described at the time of quoting. Additional charges may apply if the scope expands beyond what was agreed.

A site visit fee applies to site assessments for complex or large-scale jobs. This fee is separately quoted and payable regardless of whether you proceed with the work.

3. Booking and Cancellation

Jobs are booked subject to availability. We will confirm all bookings in writing or by phone. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee.

4. Payment

Payment is due on completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer and cash. Invoices not paid within 14 days of issue may incur a late payment fee. We reserve the right to suspend services for overdue accounts.

5. Access and Site Conditions

You are responsible for ensuring safe and legal access to the site where work is to be performed. This includes obtaining any necessary permits, providing appropriate lighting, clearing the work area, and ensuring the site meets safe work standards.

If we attend a site and determine it is unsafe or unsuitable for welding, we reserve the right to cease work. A call-out fee may still apply in these circumstances.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from services provided is limited to the cost of re-performing the relevant service or refunding the amounts paid for that service.

We carry public liability insurance. However, we are not liable for pre-existing structural defects, hidden material faults, damage caused by third parties, or any consequential or indirect losses arising from our services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any guarantee, warranty, or right that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, and layout — is owned by or licensed to The Mobile Welder and may not be reproduced, copied, or distributed without our written permission.

8. Website Use

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, upload malicious content, or use the site in a way that disrupts or damages its operation.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
